A fun DIY idea… let your groom and groomsmen wear some super hero shirts under the tuxedos.

There is nothing better than having some fun on your wedding day. Let your groom and his groomsmen show of their secret super hero identities on the wedding day.

Big props to Chris (Aquaman) for actually forming the original justice league and not just random super heros my inner geek is screaming hell ya 🙂

Shot on location at Spring Mill Country Club

Come see Michael McNett Photography and many other Love your event professionals this sunday at the hotel bethlehem bridal show

Super excited to be participating in the Hotel Bethlehem Bridal show this Sunday (July 21 2013). Most bridal shows are boring and a complete waste of time. Your cramped into a space while vendors stand behind a table and toss business cards at you. However The hotel b show is a bit more choosy about who is in their show and brides get a chance to meet quality vendors in a low key, elegant atmosphere. Most of the Love Your Event.com  contributors will be there. From Jon’s Bridal by Suzanne (Wedding Dresses and gowns), Granny Schmidt’s Bake Shop (Cakes and cupcakes) and DJ Rockin Ramaley to kick @$$ Photographers like John Wirick and Michael McNett Photography.

BETTER YET YOU WANNA WIN SOMETHING AWESOME!!!!

Go up to any Love Your Event Professional that is participant and scream (yes you gotta scream or you don’t win anything)

“I WANT SOMEBODY TO LOVE MY EVENT!!!”

And they will hook you up

Such a cute couple. We shot this on Andy’s family farm and I had such a blast. The coolest part is that during the session the  family was there and I got a little look into how amazing the wedding day is going to be. There is lots of cool stuff in here from barns to field to tractors… And if you were wondering what the colorful balls were in the ring shot, Andy is a professional paintballer (how cool is that) and those are paint balls

Sometimes having an amazing picture just isn’t enough. Humans are fickled creatures. Is we encounter the same thing consistently or if it doesn’t challenge us in an exciting way we can grow bored.

Art can very much be this way… a painting of an apple with vivid brush strokes may provide us with pleasure each time we pass it because the painting is not real life its an artistic interpretation unlike the real apples that we encounter on a regular basis. This is one reason you hire a photographer that has a unique eye and point of view. This way they capture your wedding in a manner that is not run of the mill, that is emotionally exciting and unique. But when the pictures are done and the years pass what sort of relationship do you have with those images?

This is one of the reasons why Michael McNett Photography custom designs each wedding album. This way each page has a thoughtful statement using the images that were shot on your wedding day. BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR WALLS???

Have you ever walked into a house where there are photographs all over the walls? It can be a great way for people to relive those moments but sadly sometimes they fail to challenge the viewer to look at them with a fresh eye because subconsciously they put them in a mental box of “family pictures” before they even really take the time to “see” them

So utilizing new media “wood” for the image to appear on does a couple things. It challenges people to see a photograph in a new and modern way. It breaths a life into the image that wouldn’t have existed printed on a canvas or paper and it also blends in to the aesthetic of the household in a way that may feel more like you than more traditional printing methods.

If you are interested in the wooden prints that we are now offering give us a call today and we can chat about how your walls and pictures can be exciting and unique

Wedding Photography can be such a rewarding experience especially when you get a chance to take part in one where you have an amazing bride and groom like Megan and David. The entire day was one of those ones where you end up saying “Man I wish we could do this again next week.”

These are just some shots from the pre bridal.
The bride got ready in her families house in Emmaus, make up by Lauren’s Make Up Design, and dress by Jon’s Bridal by Suzanne
For me I love how there are so many details and little things that go into the wedding day and seeing all the little parts and pieces really show off how truely unique each bride can be. I hope you guys enjoy theses little sneak peeks from the pre-bridal from the massive amounts of picture that were shot on the wedding day
